Feedback on Feedback

I have a reputation for being, shall we say, a bit enthusiastic about AI. Which would be fine if it weren’t hordes of people out there who seem to think AI is going to kill us all. I’m tired of arguing the point, so I’ll only say this: unclench, people. Seriously. Just unclench. The word is not ending.

Anyway, I’ve been a subscriber to Sudowrite, an AI writing tool, for a few years now. It’s been fun to tinker with, and they’ve been steadily adding features to make it not just something you use to boost your writing, but a fully fledged writing platform. You can do everything inside Sudowrite’s site, then export into pretty much whatever format you like. It’s pretty neat, but the feature they added most recently is probably the coolest thing they’ve done yet: Feedback.

Over the next few weeks, I will walk you through how Sudowrite’s Feedback feature works, using my own writing as an example. But here’s the thing: I’ll do my best to avoid spoilers, but if you’re at all interested in reading Little Aliens, the work I’m querying right now, you’re in for a rough ride. You have been warned.

Before I leave you, though, let me tell you this: if you have a tough time getting good feedback from your beta readers, there are options, and this is one of them. An excellent beta-buddy you can rely on to steer your writing in the right direction.
